how’d your gig go?I told a bunch of joke, some of which ran on Tumblr/Twitter earlier (kale as a status vegetable, artisan Brooklyn will collapse when they find the recipes on Pinterest, nothing sadder than a gay couple that can’t afford good furniture, etc.) and got a few chuckles and it was moderately successful! I feel good about the result. And now I have the career prospects of every other amateur stand-up comedian, which means I should keep going but definitely should not give up the day… oh, well there’s no day job, so half of tomorrow will be spent writing more jokes so that I can do them at some undetermined open mic.
