For those of us who disdain national politics and don’t believe presidential elections are capable of producing any real change (mainly because politicians/the system are inherently flawed and the Oval Office will forever be controlled by moneyed interest groups that don’t represent “the people”) but fervently supported Barack Obama because, if nothing else, this country needed to show the world it could elect its first black president with a funny Arab sounding name more than its first dynastic woman president at this point in our history…
well, we’re approaching “if nothing else” territory now.
